Rental Process - Keeping it Simple


Games provide a safe space for experimentation, learning, and collaboration within the community. We recognize that having ample time to take possession of the game, learn the rules, and engage in gameplay enhances the overall gaming experience. Our rental durations are designed with this in mind, ensuring that our pricing remains affordable and accessible.

Our Games have a 5 day minimum rental period, with prices ranging from $3 to $20 for that period. These are priced based on their value (MSRP), complexity and  components involved, expansions inclusion, and if they are a rare/collector's edition and/or out of print games. Any extensions are allowed for an additional 5 days, charged at 20% of the base rental charge per day. (ex. chosen game rented at $10 for 5 days, can be extended for another 1-5 days at the rate of $2/day for upto 5 days).  

Free Game Delivery/Pickup  services are available for rental totals exceeding $50.

Our online rental process is incredibly user-friendly and straightforward.

Here's how it works:

  1. Choose Rental Period: Select your desired rental period to view available games, or choose specific games and check their availability for the duration you prefer.
  2. Add to Cart: Add the games you want to rent to your cart.
  3. Select Additional Services: Optionally choose delivery services if needed.
  4. Proceed to Checkout: Go to checkout and log in to your account. If you don't have an account, you can sign up for free. Keep an eye on your inbox for our confirmation email.
  5. Apply Coupons/Vouchers: Apply any available coupons or vouchers to your cart and review your order.
  6. Read Rental Agreement: Review and consent to the rental agreement before proceeding to the payment gateway.
  7. Make Payment: Complete the payment process to confirm your rental booking.

Once your payment is processed, we'll prepare your games. The day before your expected rental date, we'll remove the games from our rental shelf, conduct quality checks, and carefully package them for your enjoyment.

If you opted for delivery, we'll send them to the address you provided during checkout. Otherwise, we'll provide clear instructions for you to pick up your package.

All packages must be returned as received, securely packed with the provided label attached, to the address at Mountain House, following the instructions provided in the email.

Our Rental Policies and Guidelines


Playing games creates cherished memories and fosters deep neural connections that enhance the overall gameplay experience. We recognize the importance of preserving these memories free from stress and hassle. That's why we strive to keep our terms and conditions straightforward and simple. We seek your consent on the rental agreement before you proceed with making reservations, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

Rental Agreement - Terms and Conditions


The renter of the games agrees and accepts to the below terms and conditions, and considers this as a rental agreement for the possession of the games rented from GRICQuest. Failure to read and comply with this terms and agreements will result in violation of the same.

The games listed in cart are rented out for a tenure of 5 days. The rental tenure for these games can be extended for maximum of another 5 days, charged at 20% of the base rental charge per day.

The renter agrees to the below terms and agreements:

  • Data Storage - All payments for reservations must be made using a card, which will be done through the payment gateway (Stripe) used by the hosted server. Your full name, address, and contact number are stored at our end during the checkout process. We do not store or have access to your card details entered. 
  • Payment Authorization - An invoice will be issued for the rental fee and the full MSRP of the games being rented. The rental fee will be charged immediately to your card, and a hold will be placed on your card for the MSRP amount. Upon returning the game in the agreed condition within the rental period, the remaining invoice will be satisfied, and the hold will be canceled. If otherwise, charges are applied before releasing the hold on your card. You authorize us to charge your card for any extensions, late fees accrued, game loss/damage in addition to your rental tenure charge.
  • Delay/No Communication Charges - Late fees will be automatically applied for the next 5 days at the rate of 50% of the base rental charge per day for the next 5 days. (eg, a Game rented at $15 for 5 days, would have a late fee of $7.5/day for the next 1-5 days until the game is received.) Failure to communicate/return the games within the late period, authorizes us to charge the full MSRP of the game, along with any accrued late fees during this period for the rented games, and any further rentals will be restricted.
  • Order Cancellation - The renter may be able to cancel the order for a full refund 48 hours before the rental start date. If not, your card will be charged for the rental duration even if the products are not picked up/delivered.
  • Game Condition - You agree to return the game in the EXACT condition in which you received it, with all of its pieces, the parts bagged, cards still in sleeves, etc. No alterations or attachments may be made to the game. As a courtesy, we ask you to organize the components in the game as received. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for the full MSRP of the game in case of irreparable damage, or partially for loss of components/damage, upon inspection of the returned game. This includes, but is not limited to, damage by Fire, Food/Water/Liquids/Bodily Fluids, Human or Animal Damages to game / box, and Lost Pieces or components. 
  • Lending and Ownership - You agree to keep the game in your possession and not lend or sub-rent it to anyone else during your rental tenure.
  • Safety & Choking Hazard Warning - Games rented from us are intended to be used by audiences as indicated by the manufacturer of the games, exercising caution and adult supervision as needed, at your own risk. By renting a game, you acknowledge that it may contain several tiny pieces, plastic bags, and/or other components that may pose a choking hazard to small children if left unattended. The game’s packaging, inserts and instruction manuals usually contain age recommendations and warnings regarding safety listed by the manufacturer of the games, which you would need to adhere for your personal safety and the safety of those who may come in contact with the game while it is in your possession. You can also check with us on this aspect, before renting out the games. By using this rental service, you accept full responsibility for the safe use of any game rented until it is returned.
  • Rights reserved to cancel an order - We reserve the rights at GRICQuest to cancel or partially fulfil the order. In which case, the refund is made inaccordance to the games rented or withheld.               
  • Service Restriction - We are currently only providing services to a restricted number of zip codes, due to our current logistics. The Self-pickup and self-drop off of the games are from Mountain House (zipcode - 95391). Delivery/Pickup services options currently cater to the following zipcodes of Mountain House, Tracy, Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton cities (94551, 94566, 94568, 94588, 94550, 95391, 95376, 95377, 95304). If you don't find your zip codes listed, kindly reach out to check for a possibility of delivery/pickup.
